Gretel created a logo animation for The New York Times Magazine – a modern take on the magazine's print heritage. In the form of a digital halftone, a living field of dots represents the different stories that are filtered, activated and sharpened into the magazine’s masthead. The animation precedes multimedia and video content produced and distributed by the magazine. It appears online, in the app and cross-platform.
